چکیده
This paper deals with the key aspects of exergy analysis H2O/LiBr absorption refrigeration cycles where, instead agreement, disparity opinion exists among researchers. As a result, comparisons literature are often difficult or meaningless. Based on an in-depth review, issues highlighted were: a) identification dead state, b) calculation currents, and c) definition efficiency devices overall system. study clarifies controversial divergent assumptions proposes coherent approach. In addition, comparison is performed. case study, single effect cycle, refrigerated water, has been considered here. Related to consideration different subsystems results in practical interest. The highlight importance correct chemical for It also described here how define rational exergetic efficiency, fuel-product exergy, according physical exergies streams. shows discrepancy specially desorber absorber, where plays important role.

An Improved Modular Modeling for Analysis of Closed-Cycle Absorption Cooling Systems
A detailed modular modeling of an absorbent cooling system is presented in this paper. The model including the key components is described in terms of design parameters, inputs, control variables, and outputs. The model is used to simulate the operating conditions for estimating the behavior of individual components and system performance, and to conduct a sensitivity analysis based on the give...
متن کاملPerformance Evaluation of Counter·flowwet Cooling Towers Using Exergetic Analysis
In this paper, performance evaluation of wet cooling tower is done. To achieve this aim, first, thermal behavior of counter-flow wet cooling tower is studied through a simulation model. The influence of the environmental conditions on the thermal efficiency of the cooling tower is investigated. The cooling tower performance is simulated in terms of varying air and water temperatures, and of the...
متن کاملOptimization of Solar Absorption Cooling System Considering Hourly Analysis
Thermal modelling and optimal design of a solar absorption cooling system are presented, and hourly analysis is performed over the period of a year. Three design parameters are considered, then the Real Parameter Genetic Algorithm (RPGA) is applied to obtain the minimum total annual cost. The optimization results show that the solar cooling optimum configuration needs 1630 square meter collecto...
متن کاملMaximum Exergetic Efficiency Operation of a Solar Powered H2O-LiBr Absorption Cooling System
A solar driven cooling system consisting of a single effect H2O-LiBr absorbtion cooling module (ACS), a parabolic trough collector (PTC), and a storage tank (ST) module is analyzed during one full day operation. The pressurized water is used to transfer heat from PTC to ST and to feed the ACS desorber. The system is constrained to operate at the maximum ACS exergetic efficiency, under a time de...
