Key issues on the exergetic analysis of H2O/LiBr absorption cooling systems

This paper deals with the key aspects of exergy analysis H2O/LiBr absorption refrigeration cycles where, instead agreement, disparity opinion exists among researchers. As a result, comparisons literature are often difficult or meaningless. Based on an in-depth review, issues highlighted were: a) identification dead state, b) calculation currents, and c) definition efficiency devices overall system. study clarifies controversial divergent assumptions proposes coherent approach. In addition, comparison is performed. case study, single effect cycle, refrigerated water, has been considered here. Related to consideration different subsystems results in practical interest.
